The excellent condition, beautiful design, and rarity of the copy of The Weavers Draft Book and Design Assistant (Baltimore: Hagerty 1792) reproduced here makes it an ornament, as well as an interesting historical document. Acquired by the American Antiquarian Society in 1977, it is only the second known copy of this work to surface.

Over the course of two decades, John Hargrove worked with 20 different whales on two continents and at two of SeaWorld's U.S. facilities.
