About the Author\nHailing from the small Northern Ontario town of West Guilford (population: 75), Bernie Nicholls is one of only eight players in NHL history to score 70 goals in one season and one of five to score 150 points. Displaying flamboyance and a style that set him apart during an 18-year career, Nicholls amassed 475 goals and 1,209 points in 1,127 games with six teams. He scored 42 goals and 114 points in 118 career playoff games.
