<p>Matthew Geden was born and brought up in the English midlands. In 1990, he moved to Kinsale in County Cork, where he now works as the Director of Kinsale Writing School. His collections of poetry include "Swimming to Albania" (Bradshaw Books, 2009) and "A Place Inside" (Dedalus Press, 2012). His translations from Guillaume Apollinaire were published as "Autumn" (Lapwing, 2003). In November 2019 he was Writer in Residence at Nanjing Literature Centre, China.</p>
