Daffy was champion hog caller when Deke Parsons discovered her and got the bright idea of managing her career as a woman wrestler. Created by Gill Fox, Daffy made her debut in Smash Comics #41 in 1943. When Fox left to fight in World War II, Daffy’s adventures came to life via the pen of Bart Tumey. In 47 stories throughout the Golden Age of Comics, professional wrestler Daffy Dill fought in the ring and out, stopping unusual evil-doers.
