<p>From the hill country of northern Alabama comes a missionary spirit that seems to be spreading worldwide. Under the leadership of Dr. Johnny Wayne Evans, "Mega Missions" has constructed more than seventy churches in Mexico alone. In addition, they provide ministries to tens of thousands counseling drug abusers, feeding the hungry, and providing medical care. Dr. Evans himself is a remarkable man - with a background as a nail driving construction worker, he began working with the missionary effort in the 1970's. He awoke to his calling at a McDonald's Restaurant where he met a young Mexican boy whose plight fired Dr. Evans' drive to reach a country for Jesus Christ and has since engulfed the Mexican nation. From the homeless in garbage dumps of Mexico City, to the high mountains of Mexico, the voice of Jesus Christ is echoing through the works of Christians of all denominations, bound together to preach the Word of God as "Mega Missions."</p>
