About the Author Enda Walsh is a multi-award-winning Irish playwright. He lives in London. Gut-wrenchingly funny, achingly sad and featuring jaw-dropping moments of physical comedy, Ballyturk is an ambitious and tender work from Enda Walsh, one of Ireland's leading playwrights. The play premiered at Galway International Arts Festival in 2014 in a production by Landmark Productions and Galway International Arts Festival, starring Cillian Murphy, Mikel Murfi and Stephen Rea, and directed by Walsh himself. It subsequently toured Ireland before opening at the National Theatre, London.

In misterman, we enter the head of Thomas Magill, an unstable man whose mission is to bring God to his fellow townfolk of Inishfree.
