Breuer first coined the term complexes to describe part personalities. Der Autor behandelt das Thema Komplexdiagnostik und Komplextherapie auf der Basis der Jungschen Konzeption der Komplexe. Er entwickelt ein theoretisches System mit zahlreichen Fallvignetten, das es in dieser umfassenden Form bisher nicht gab.
