Lata s parents, Jairaj and Ratna, are former Bharatanatyam dancers in search of a mridangam player who can play during Lata s performance at a popular dance show. However, little do they know that they will also be meeting Viswas, the man that their daughter is planning to marry. The meeting leads to an argument between her parents, unravelling events from their past and exposing strains of discord among them. Apart from that, the young couple also has several other issues to deal with, including Lata s career after marriage and her efforts to balance her parents desires and hers.</p>
