<p>Nauja, is a 13-year-old boy from Beringia, the land connecting Siberia to Alaska during the Last Glacial Maxim. He must take a manhood trek to bring a gift back to his tribe. The value of his gift will establish his place in the tribe for the rest of his life.The people he meets may be friendly, but the animals are not. Giant bears, fanged cats, and other huge predators were around every corner. Just surviving is a constant battle. Many of the scenes are based on real archaeological finds.</p>
