Embrace the Struggle the Art of Chris Navarro Chris Navarro from Casper Wyoming has been sculpting professionally since 1986. He is best known for his large monumental bronze sculptures of wildlife, Native American, western, and inspirational subjects. With over 30 bronze monumental sculptures placed throughout the country including the monumental bronze memorial of world champion bull rider Lane Frost at Cheyenne, Wyoming, Chris, a former bull and bronc rider. Family, horses, rodeo and art have been the driving passions of his life. His aim is to inspire others, with his artwork and story. When he started sculpting at 23 he only had a desire and a dream. Having now been a professional artist for over 30 years I have decided to share my art and thoughts on the things that have helped me on this journey of making a living doing what I love. I do not claim to know all the answers but what I have learned I will gladly share with those who wish to make a similar journey. I know there are no overnights successes in the art world. It is a myth that as an artist if you will just be discovered by the right gallery or art agent they will pave the way to artistic success. Building your art career is a lifelong struggle. If you want to be great at something there are no secrets. It is only accomplished through dedication hard work and a love for what you are doing. Love is an emotion you can't fake and you cannot be great at anything without loving it.

In Dare To Dream Big, artist Chris Navarro takes you on an inspirational journey of discovery. In 2018 his monumental bronze sculpture ''Dare To Dream Big'' was entered in the largest art competition in the world Artprize 10 in Grand Rapids, MI with 1420 artist entered and over 500,000 visitors, making it the most attended public art event in the world. The sculpture has an interactive element, a large chalk board next to the sculpture with a sign reading, I DARE TO DREAM BIG AND I WILL? below was space for viewers to write in their own dreams and goals. During the art show hundreds and hundreds of dreams were written down and documented by the artist. ''It was amazing seeing, hearing and feeling the reaction people had to my sculpture and the wide range of their dreams and goals. Having our dreams come true is the essence of life.''
