<p>Catalog of an exhibit held at Chris Beetles Ltd., London, in 1979. Includes reproductions of 273 watercolors and drawings as well as essays by some of the artist's contemporaries. Brabazon described himself as living "for art and sunshine" and viewed himself as a gentleman amateur. He did not show or try to sell his work until his mid-seventies. Then, with the encouragement of artist friends, particularly John Singer Sargent, he began to exhibit. His first show at the New English Art Club was followed by successful one-man exhibitions at the Goupil Gallery in Bond Street.</p>
