My name is Diane Craig Chechik, and I can be a source of information and inspiration if breast cancer is a concern to you. I am a twenty-year breast cancer survivor, public speaker, and author of two books, There's Nothing Like A Breast and Journey to Justice. The books detail my legal, emotional, physical and sexual struggles with breast cancer. Both books have been written not only for breast cancer survivors, but also for their spouses, families, and friends. They have changed and saved readers' lives -- motivating them to become their own advocates for their health, their bodies, and their future. October officially is Breast Cancer Awareness month. However, breast cancer strikes every day of the year. As the longest living breast cancer survivor in the world taking Tamoxifen, I would be happy to share my experiences with others now facing the challenges cancer presents. I have lectured extensively throughout Florida and other states to women's groups, and health care professionals along with being interviewed on radio, television by newspaper reporters, and participating in panel discussions.
