ReintroductionsThis brings us to the Textus Receptus readings which have been reintroduced into the modern Greek New Testaments. The Nestle's 26 edition being our case-in-point. Kurt Aland & Co. simply could not refute the hundred-and-fifty year oldfindings of a German pastor. Thus, with the publishing of the 26th edition of the Nestle/Aland Novum Testamentum-Graecethey had to bow to the good German doctor, von Soden, and reinsert numerous readings that had earlier been removed with reckless abandon by Westcott & Hort loyalists. This will also be found to be true of Nestle's 27 edition whose text is identical to the 26th. Succeeding editions will need to be examined for compliance.
