<p>The aim of this text is to lead the clinician into this new world, starting with the description of "chair-side" procedures – which allow surgical guides and fixed prosthesis to be produced "at the chair-side" – up to the treatment of complex cases. By comparing traditional techniques to innovative digital ones, the text provides an easy-to-follow and replicated guide to fixed immediate-load prosthetics for everyday dentistry. The DIGIT (DENTAL IMPLANT GUIDED IMMEDIATE THERAPY) implantprosthetic technique developed by the Authors is also highlighted. DIGIT offers a solution that maintains the reference points normally lost in the transition from the surgical template to the positioning of the provisional or definitive prosthesis, increasing accuracy to reduce the risk of prosthetic complications in immediate load protocols. The book also outlines the Skyn Concept, which provides the highest quality results in terms of both esthetics and function by copying natural morphology using selected libraries and using CAD/CAM technology.</p>
