I have participated in the Pentecostal Charismatic Movement for more than 45 years. I have observed many changes. Some have been good. Others, unfortunately, have not been so good. What disturbs me most in our day is the lack of desire for the things of the Spirit. Where is the deep hunger for the infilling of His Holy Spirit? Where is the deep desire for the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit? Out of my deep concern about these things, in 1993 I preached a series of sermons in my church. This book evolved from that series. I have written with every believer in mind. May it ignite a flaming fire of desire in our hearts for the presence of the Holy Spirit. May it empower each reader with a greater knowledge of God, of His character and of His ways. May it draw us to Him in a greater way than ever before. May it be an agent in the Hand of God to bring Holy Ghost revival to our land in these Last Days.
