We are thrilled to announce that Kristana Lott, a dedicated Psychology major at Siena College, has been awarded the latest BookScouter Quarterly Book Scholarship. Kristana was selected as this quarter’s scholarship recipient from a group of participants who shared their stories through videos. She’s passionate about mental health advocacy and is determined to make a real difference in people’s lives—reflecting the inspiring goals of many other applicants.

The most expensive textbook Kristana ever purchased from Siena’s bookstore cost $350. Understanding the financial strain expensive books can create, she later sold it for just $50 to a fellow student who needed the money for more essential expenses.

The $500 scholarship will assist Kristana in covering the costs of her textbooks, alleviating some of the financial burdens associated with higher education. We hope this support will help her achieve her academic and professional goals.
