Comment: Run away!!! Do not order books from eCampus.com. They sent me a book torn up. Every page is only half of the page. The haft pages are full written. When I tried to return the book, I had to pay shipping again. They do not care about the customer. They want your money. These people are scammers.

Comment: Beware. I wont be sending any more of my used books to Ecampus. The consistently quote one price and never pay the quoted price. Sometimes they say rejected on books that have no problems.

Comment: Don't rent or buy textbooks from ecampus.com if you can help it. My son prefers physical textbooks so I set out to find copies to rent. Ecampus had the best price and availability so I placed the order there and paid extra for expedited shipping. We found out the day my son was supposed to receive the books that ecampus had canceled the order. I contacted customer service and asked why the order was canceled and for it to be reinstated. They could not tell me why the order was canceled. They also said that the order could not be reinstated, I would have to create a new order and that my money would be refunded in 3-5 business days. I create the new order only to discover that rental prices and shipping costs have increased. The order total ended up being close to $200 more. I contacted customer service again to see what they could do. The best they could offer was a $15 credit and upgraded shipping (since I had already paid for expedited and the books were now late by my timeline). That certainly does not cover the price increase so I asked to speak to a supervisor. Turns out, ecampus customer service doesn't have a phone number and they can't just bring a supervisor into the conversation. They have to put in a request for a supervisor to contact me and once the request is received, a supervisor is supposed to reach out within two business days. I put in multiple requests before receiving a response from a supposed supervisor. The supervisor said, "I apologize your order with us on 8/23/23 was cancelled. Our system evaluates many factors to determine if your order might be fraudulently placed. But ultimately it is a system and can cancel an order in error. I apologize but we are unable to price match previous pricing on our website as the prices we offer often fluctuate based on supply and demand for the product. I show that an agent has already upgraded your shipping method for your replacement order and applied $15 of instore credit. Thank you for contacting A Book Company! If you have any further questions, respond to this email or start a chat with us." Are you kidding me?! I'm beyond frustrated. It really seems as if the order was canceled because they knew a price increase was coming and I have to wonder how many customers they did this to. Where I work, if a customer was treated like that someone would be in trouble.

Comment: If you can find a different buyer, even if the quotes is less, consider taking it as the eCampus process is long. Books that are highly counterfeited, even if your copy isn't and you have proof, will be flagged for verification. A process that can take up to 6 weeks...in addition to the 3-5 weeks it'll take ecampus to process the buyback. So potentially 11 weeks.

Comment: I seriously laughed so hard when i sent them one book for five dollars and found out through email that it takes them 3 weeks to process books and issue payment. granted they did pay the 5 bucks, three weeks later. However the one really awesome thing about this here slow turtle company is that they have no low price limit. meaning that theoretically if they value a book at a quarter and you really want that quarter, theyll pay you a freaking quarter, albeit in 3 weeks, but still thats pretty awesome because if youre reading this youre probably doing what i do and you know dang well how aggravating it can be to meet those limits because youll have like 14 bucks for one company but need 15 and then like 17 bucks for another order but need 20...idk man the low ball no limit thing is pretty sick so yeah ill give them a solid five stars, three weeks later.

Comment: Two reasons for the 1 star: 1) they claim they didn't receive a package from last month. However, I sent another buyback to a different company on the SAME DAY using the SAME SERVICE and that company got their package??? I also sent them a package this month and they received that one -- and yet they still haven't gotten my package from last month??? Make it make sense... 2) Thanks to the pandemic I forgot to cash a check they sent me. I had checks from other buyback companies and those companies responded and reissued payment within a week. It's been over a month and eCampus still has not responded -- and I can't even follow up because the website says to do so would further delay the process. These guys are a mess.

Comment: Created an order 1/30 that was mailed 1/31. Order was received on 2/4. On 2/4 received notification that the publisher required verification for one of my books & this would delay payment and they had no idea how long it would take. There was no indication of which book this was, but textbook in this order was purchased directly from the college book store. Bottom line, as of 3/9 still waiting on payment. It's significant to note, mailed out books to 7 other buyback companies same day, all paid ages ago, all containing textbooks, non of which required verification.

Comment: Easy transactions buy/sell. May not always be fast at payment out depending on the time of year, but always paid full quote. Good company.

Comment: Each time I send an order in, they only pay me for a portion of it. And there's nothing wrong with the books I send them.

Comment: Overall of 3 stars from them is probably a scam. Sent them a 30 bucks book and came back saying might not be authentic? Sold of millions of vendors none are like this. They used to be good one time a few years ago but now scamming at every opportunity. Don't sent them anything, I would rather donate them if no one wants them.
