I have sold most of my books to them and they paid me a very good amount on books that weren't even used by my college anymore. I sold 5 copies of the same book to them and got 5 checks back within 2 to 3 weeks!!

I have notice some complaint about this website not sending checks back, have you tried to pack your book neatly and professionally? What about reading the description on what condition they want the book in? If the website doesn't send you a check, it probably mean your book was either loss in transit, had no packing slip, or it was missing material or damage.

I do notice that they send a check home advertising this website: BunchesofBooks.com.

Now their site is back up (or is it?) and no word from them about what they owe me. I've written off the experience as a total loss, and recommend that no one else repeat my experience. They appear to be either incompetent or crooked.
Rating: 1 starsRating: 1 starsRating: 1 starsRating: 1 starsRating: 1 stars Jul 2008 I finally got my check in the mail, of course they still didn't answer most of my emails, after I sent them one saying that obviously they were ripping me off they sent one back saying that they hadn't gotten my other emails because they were going into their spam folder and that I was not getting ripped off. But I think that is because I also had told them I was going to places like this where I could leave feedback on them, and I just got the check after almost 2 months! If I had not hounded them and everything I really don't think I would have gotten the check, I think they just got tired of getting stuff from me!!!

I used a similar website at the exact same time and got a check in the mail 2 weeks later. Obviously I got ripped off, but I would really like to know if there is any way to report this website so that no one else has the same problem.

I am pretty sure they are crooks!!! I am passing it on in any way I can to help others from getting ripped off like I did.
