May 2009 | This site is awesome. Payment was fast and the prices and turnaround time was GREAT!! I sent my books on May 1, 2009 and got my check on May 8th. No other online buyback company has come close to paying that fast. |

May 2009 | If you read their website, College Textbook Buyers claim to quickly process and pay. "We process payment as soon as we receive your books. We unpack the box, check the packing list to insure all books are inside and process your payment. Our streamlined process only takes minutes, this insures that you get your payment faster." This has not been true for me. They received my order two days ago. They emailed me telling me that they received it, and they haven't paid. It wouldn't be that disappointing if they weren't claiming to be lighting fast with their payments! |

April 2009 | sent in some books and they refused to buy a couple of them saying they were in poor condition, other companies have bought books in similiar condition so i believe they are making a little extra money by saying they discarded the books, just conjecture on my part obviously, they did pay in a reasonable amount of time though for what they actually bought |

April 2009 | They are good for pricing but not paying, I have sent them new books and they always discount some of the books, there favorite is the "discolored pages" the books are new and the page color is not always lily white, they just look for excuses. they also sent me an email telling me what they would be paying, they sent less and never returned the email |

April 2009 | beware of them, they love to quote high then reject what they can and you have no recourse. There favorite I hear is discolred pages, if it aint shiny white they reject and you are out, the problem is many books are not shiny white pages and for them to constantly use that as an excuse is a sham. if the book is in good shape cover great, never been read they use that to not pay you and don't ask to ship it back it isn't worth it. they are scammers and screw you beware |

March 2009 | not committed to honoring their quoted prices... i sent several books to them and for the most expensive book they decided a few days later to discontinue buying back that book and they made up excuses to me as to why the book is unacceptable so they could avoid paying out. watch out for the "yellow pages " and "loose pages" excuses. and you don;t get the book back of course (unless you want to pay). my complaint is...if they really did not want to buy the book back, then tell me up front so i can sell it to somebody else. |

March 2009 | Very poor customer service, and did not receive money for books. I sent books on Jan 2, 2009...as of Feb. 20, 2009 I have not received payment. I have wrote 4 emails to company. Only 2 were responded to, and all they said was I would be notified when my order was processed. Very disappointed in company. |
