| Feb 2010 | I have sold books to textbooksnow.com 11 times in the last 6 months. The turnaround time is decent, and they get a check out to me in a good time frame. Most the feedback I've seen here is from people BUYING books from them, not selling them. They are also the only book buying site I know of that does not have a minimum amount before you can get free shipping back to them, which makes them a high choice on my list. A+ service, textbooksnow.com. :) |

As soon as I typed in my information, their website decided not to come up (even though every other website on the internet seemed to be working but theirs). I am very dissatisfied and thank you everyone else who commented on them as well. I will not be sending them any of my books and thank you for whoever posted their address. Now I can tell them how bad they are. Are they even a company because that is the worst way possible to do business. They cheat people, so now they themselves will be cheated! | |

I mailed my book back to them over a month ago and still have not received my refund. Thank God I got a tracking number and delivery confirmation from the post office saying it was delivered. I've also emailed the company and not heard back from them. I hope they are ready for the hell I will be giving them tmrw. Die textbooksnow.com. Worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. I think the DMV may actually be better than this, and that says a lot. Don't waste your time here. | |

| Feb 2009 | Worst company ever. I ordered a book that I needed for my job, and I ended up getting a piece of CARDBOARD in the mail--no book. I have sent numerous e-mails with no response (other than computer-generated e-mails that do not apply). It is beyond frustrating. Horrible company. | |
| Feb 2009 | I ordered my book from there on Jan 11th and I payed for 2-4 day shipping. The book did not arrive till a week and a half later and inside it wasn't even the right book. It had a totally different address on the receipt but my name was on the package. After finding that out I send them numerous emails each day that went by after I already sent the book back to them. They never contacted me and still have yet to contact me. I still do not have the book yet and I've missed multiple assignments in the class I needed it for. I ended up having to file a claim against them and I'm still waiting for my money back. DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER WITH TEXTBOOKSNOW. HORRIBLE SERVICE, NO CONTACT WHAT SO EVER. -Brittney |

| Jan 2009 | I ordered a book for class from textbooksnow (or never) through Half.com. About a week later I receive an email from textbooksnow (or never) saying the item had been shipped. I received a package about 4 days later; my address on the front, totally different and wrong book, the packing slip was even for somebody else. I contacted textbooksnever via email--because of course there is no phone number on their website--and received a reply 4 days later. They apologized for the wrong item and asked that I send it back to them (which I had already done and told them so in my email). THEN, they tell me my book was not available, and that they would initiate a refund. So after 2 weeks, after receiving the wrong item, it takes all this for them to realize they don't have my book in stock. Of course, I have no idea how long that initiation is going to take. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE INCOMPENTENT MANAGEMENT/BUSINESS DO NOT USE TEXTBOOKSNOW!!!! |

I noticed my book came from the distribution center at: 8950 Palmer River Grove, IL 60171 Phone (866)411-6606 Hours on recording were M-F 8-4:30pm. Good Luck ! |

| Jan 2009 | I ordered by mistake 2 textbooks of the same title from amazon, thru this company. When I sent at least 7 emails to textbooksnow, none of them were answered. I also paid for expedited shipping and did not receive the first book until over a week later. They say it's FedEx ground, but it comes regular mail. This company also has no phone number or address listed either with amazon or on its website, so there is no way to get in touch with them other than emails which they never answer. Amazon is making me wait 3 weeks to receive a refund and refuses to stand behind the customer. I pointed all of this out to amazon, and they cited some stupid policy that they cannot refund anyone who buys from one of their offsellers for at least 3 weeks. I am contacting my state attorney general's office with complaints against BOTH companies! |

I ordered a text book I needed for class now a week after the date and paid for EXPEDITED shipping and still have YET to receive it. They have not responded to any of my FOUR emails for simply a confirmation that it was sent. I am so sickened by this company I am about to contact the Better Business Bureau. I ordered my book a week and a half before needing it, and since the company was only one state over, I figured I didn't need expedited shipping. 8 days later, and two emails (one which got a very vague response, the other no response), they say they have shipped it, but none of the tracking numbers are valid (yet.) Go somewhere else, even if it's a couple of dollars more you will probably be much happier than shopping at textbooksnow.com. | |
| Nov 2008 | Terrible, aloof customer service. All the aggravation you'll endure from this place will negate the dollar or two you might save over Amazon. As for me, I'm sticking with other (reputable) book dealers from this point forward. What frosted me, finally, was the fact I paid textbooksnow *extra* money for expedited, 2-day shipping, only to have them sit on my order for a day and a half. So I was charged for two-day shipping, and received it in four; without so much as an apology. Never, ever, ever again will I do business with this place. | |

| Sep 2008 | I bought a used book but the descriptions said that it was still in "good" condition and when i got it the back pages had nasty stains on them and the covers were all dented and crinkly. The book also came extremely late surpassing the time that it was supposed to come. I would give this place a negative rating if the rate button would allow me. STAY AWAY FROM TXTBOOKSNOW no matter how much cheaper it may seem... they lie in their descriptions |

They sent an email stating they had initiated a refund for the book that was out of stock. They have yet to refund the money and I still have not received the other book. They have SEVERAL unresolved complaints against them with the BBB. | |

| Jul 2008 | I ordered some textbooks and paid for "next business day" shipping. When my books were shipped, they were shipped "ground." If I had wanted to wait to get them, I wouldn't have paid for the expedited shipping. Several calls and emails to customer service were not returned. Although the prices on the books were good, you can't count on them shipping them as you've paid for -- or to return your calls or emails. Wouldn't recommend this company. |

| A while ago | To all reading this posting, STAY AWAY FROM this company!! Although the book did arrive within 4-14 days(6 days) as their site said, when it arrived it was very shabbily shipped in what looked like 2 pieces of thin cardboard shipping paper taped loosely together. Also to top it off the label on the outside was stamped in red as being received unsealed. I removed the one piece of tape holding this package shut and removed the book to look at it and the cover was separating from the spine of the book. Also the edges of the pages were badly stained, it almost looked like mold or water damage. I received it on Jan 15th. Plus for this shabby a copy of a so called "HIGH Quality" used book as they claim to only send out I paid 47.08 with no shipping. So now even if I send it back for a refund I will still be out shipping since they don't refund that!! 2 words if dealing with this company BUYER BEWARE!!! |

| A while ago | This company asked if we wanted to ship U P S and we said yes. They asked for a physical address and we provided it. They then went on to send it via the mail, as we asked them NOT to. Secondly, when we asked why they did it, they pointed the finger at us, gave vague and non-specific responses. They promised a refund that we are still waiting for. Their e-mails were very unprofessional and I would highly suggest you stay away from this company. Watch who you buy with, the textbooks.com company sounds alike, but are more legit, based on my experience, NOT textbooksnow.com. In my opinion, you MUST stay away from the latter. |
