They claimed they did not receive two of my books. Impossible since they were all in the same box. I contacted customer support. I will leave better feedback if they resolve this issue to my satisfaction.

On two separate occasions i have sent in texts that totaled well into the $40 dollar range, and i have received full payment. With their prepaid FedEx label you can track the package, and their checks arrive quicker than other companies.

They indicated that they didn't receive one of the books that just so happened to be the most expensive. Either their check in process doesn't work properly or they have incompetent people working for them (or maybe someone on their end stole the book.) They also never responded to my emails. This was my first and last experience selling (or buying) anything with them. Just awful!

They company provides FedEx shipping labels and it was less than a week when I received the funds into my PayPal account. Very pleased.

And now on Monday, exactly one week later after I had sent them in, I receive my check in the mail for $2 MORE than what they quoted me at. I wish I had more books to send to them! :(

All but 1 book was downgraded in price yet all were in excellent condition when they left my possession. Payment was fast but oddly, the payment I received was from textbooksrus.com. What's up with that?

If I could change one thing it would be that they could send via paypal with paypal not dinging you on receiving payment.

other sites have it figured out, I wish they would and I would do paypal all the time, I hate paying paypal a percentage of my payment

I am a teacher, and was moved to another grade level before using the resource books I purchased. I was quoted the price for all new books, and they cut the price in half when payment was issued, downgrading the books to used. I would not recommend them to anyone who wants a fair price for new books.

First of all, Abe Books does provide Paypal payment in addition to checks. I sent in a single textbook on November 29 and got an email from them that they received my book on December 3. Better yet, I got my quoted payment in my Paypal account that same day! All in all, it only took a measly 3 business days for the entire process; now that's what I call first class service! I will surely do business with Abe Books again if I have the chance in the future.

There are pros and cons to using them. Out of all the book sellers I used, Abebooks was the only one that provided delivery confirmation directly on the shipping label. Through the delivery confirmation, I noted that my shipment made it there by USPS ahead of all my other books, but the shipment got "bounced" (no one was there to pick up the delivery) and delayed by processing. The whole process took about 2 1/2 weeks, but I had books sent to farther places that got delivered and processed faster. They were very good about letting you know the status of your order though and I got the fully quoted price. Also, It isn't noted here but they do offer Paypal now. If you sell to textbooksrus or Abebooks, I think they use the same processing facilities for books. I would use them again if there isn't a better seller ahead of them, their quoted prices are usually midrange.
