AbeBooks buyback program is actually run by TextbooksRus. They have blocked access to the BookScouter website, so their pricing is not available on this site, but it always matches exactly what TextbooksRus is offering. I'd recommend avoiding the extra company and dealing with TextbooksRus directly. Our mission at AbeBooks.com is to help people find and buy any book from any bookseller anywhere. We provide you with essential services and opportunities not available to booksellers through any other listing service AbeBooks is the best venue in terms of price and value for selling books on the internet.
|Jul 2015||I sent in three separate buyback orders over a month ago. I received emails for all three exactly 10 business days ago saying that they've been accepted and I can expect payment into my Paypal account in 1-2 business days. I've contacted them several times since being that I have yet to receive payment for anything and still have yet to receive any kind of response from them. It's very frustrating. I certainly will not be using their services again.|
|Jun 2015||Service was quick and quotes were honored with quick payment. Thank You and will use again!|
|Jun 2014||I have tried other text buyback companies and this one is by far the best. They accepted all my books, gave me the most money, and were very quick. They emailed me as soon as they received my books and the whole process took only a week for me to get my check. I shipped my books on Friday and had my check by the next Friday. They were so fast and gave me exactly what they quoted. I will use this site every time when selling my books back. Awesome! Awesome!|
I feel like I have been scammed by this company. I mailed two books and have been paid for only one. The confirmation email said the second book I sent was not the one I received a quote for. The ISBN number of the second book the email listed as being doesn't even exist. When I tried to log into my account to verify my mailing information, the site won't let me log in now that they have received my books. Seems awfully suspect to me.
